I love mountains. I hike, run, scramble, and fish in them a lot. Living in California, I’m lucky to have access to several ranges, including the Sierra Nevada, the San Gabriel and San Bernardino Mountains, and my local Santa Monica Mountains. I’ve been visiting these mountains since I moved to L.A. in 2012, but it took me until 2021 to decide to post a few trip reports. You can find these below, and eventually they will be organized by year. Note that the most recent reports will be more detailed than earlier trips, given my terrible memory.
